BEACH & LAKE

The BEACH & LAKE is a small Ayurvedic center (21 rooms) located a few kilometers north of the famous Kovalam beach.

The Ayurvedic center started in the late 1990s and has continued to evolve to this day, under the supervision of Dr. Franklin, a leading expert in the field, becoming medically independent in 2010.

There is also, as in other centers, a very good synchronization between ayurveda, meditation and yoga.

Since 2010, improvements made to the Beach and Lake have considerably transformed the comfort conditions, and the maintenance of the entire property is a constant concern for the management team, who are always present everywhere and at all times.

The Vaidyashala is brand new, next to the pool, and the monsoon restaurant on the island has been completely renovated and expanded. Further improvements were made in early 2014, including an open-air restaurant for the dry season and an additional floor with five very nice rooms.

2023 will see the inauguration of a new meditation garden near the vaidyashala and the swimming pool, as well as a new yoga hall.

The ferryman who makes the connection between the island and the mainland still pushes calmly on his long pole to cross the 50 meters of "backwaters" without being disturbed in the least by the birds that come to feed nearby or by the music of the ocean which is not far away.
