At SREE CHITHRA AYUR HOME, we do everything possible to preserve health, both physical and mental. The traditional home of the old Tharavadu families (the Nalukettu) is a unique place, built according to the sacred precepts of Vastu Shastra and adapted to the needs of contemporary comfort.

The pure and refreshing air circulating in the small traditional village nestled under the coconut trees and the calm beauty of the backwaters are conducive to deep regeneration and inner well-being.

The center is run by two Ayurvedic doctors who are members of the Perumbillyssery Tharavadu family, known for having given Kerala many doctors for over 400 years.

SREE CHITHRA AYUR HOME, located in the backaters in Manathala, has long since seen its reputation extend beyond national borders, and people come from far and wide to be treated there.

Each treatment is scientifically developed as outlined in Thalyola Grandham, the in-depth knowledge of which has been passed down to the present day.

At SREE CHITHRA AYUR HOME, each day begins with a yoga session, focusing on simple principles that can be easily practiced back home.

After examination, doctors decide on the treatment prescribed for each patient. These treatments may address diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, obesity, infertility, growth problems, depression, etc.

The food is entirely vegetarian and Ayurvedic. Tobacco and alcohol are prohibited, as in all centers. However, the warm and traditional atmosphere of this old house is designed to make you feel right at home.
